Colon Hydrotherapy

The colon is part of the digestive system. Its primary function is to remove water and some nutrients and electrolytes from partially digested food. The remaining material—solid waste called stool— moves through the colon, is stored in the rectum, and leaves the body through the anus.

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon Irrigation or Colon Hydrotherapy is a very simple, safe, comfortable, and hygienic way to irrigate the colon without the use of drugs.

How does Colon Hydrotherapy Work?

A typical session lasts approximately 30-40 minutes and uses about 8 gallons of water. The proper temperature of the water falls between 99 -103 degrees F and if at any time the water rises above 103 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature sensor will trigger, stopping water flow to the client. The system utilizes the controlled pressure created by gravity as water exits the elevated tank.

When the colon hydrotherapy session is over, the client is instructed to sit up or lean back in a lounge position to drain comfortably on the ergonomic basin, to release any residual water and fully drain the colon.

Upon completion, the client can rinse off using the basin sprayer and then towel dry before dressing and leaving the privacy of the colon irrigation room.

Colon Hydrotherapy assists in safe cleansing of the colon.
