There are several reasons to get a full-body thermography. These include:

It doesn’t involve radiation.

Some screening methods expose patients to small doses of radiation. Having a radiation-free option for full-body screening is ideal. A thermography assesses a patient’s skin temperature through thermal imaging and deciphers this information on a computer screen in the form of electronic data signals without the use of radiation.

It screens for more than just cancer.

Not only can a full-body thermography detect breast cancer, as well as other forms, but it can also uncover additional diseases and conditions, and help identify a wide range of dysfunctions, including, but not limited to:

For instance, in this particular study, the results find a thermography “could potentially offer a cost-effective, safe, and sensitive method for early detection of cancerous tumors.”
