The Northport Wellness Center is pleased to welcome audiologist, Dr. Peter Loring to our Wellness Alliance.  Dr. Loring is a licensed audiologist who works with the hearing impaired. His goal is to improve people's lives by easing their communication difficulties.

Dr. Loring, along with Elizabeth Ward, and Nicholas Aquino, are the doctors of Audiology & Communication Services in Commack. Audiology & Communication Service caters to patients two years old and up. With over 50 years of combined experience, the doctors at Audiology & Communication Services are capable of meeting their patients' hearing needs and improving overall communication to live a better life. Their experience and expertise enables them to work with the special needs/difficult to test population as well as musicians, and those looking to help preserve their hearing with custom ear protection as well as swim molds to help keep the ears dry.

More about Dr. Peter Loring
Dr. Loring earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2000. In his professional life, he has had the opportunity to gain experience in both private audiology and ENT practices and has an extensive background in providing hearing healthcare to children, adults, Deaf individuals and the developmentally disabled populations.

Dr. Loring worked for over 20 years as a musician and as a sound man, which has given him insight to helping musicians hear better, as well as protecting their hearing. In 2006, he suffered a sudden hearing loss, so as a hearing aid user, he understands the needs of his patients on a professional as well as a personal level.
