Dr. Steven Stummer was the team physician with Dowling College Women’s Soccer, and is currently the team physician for the Long Island Rough Riders Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs, club physician at BW Cosmos Academy, and league physician for the Half Hollow Hills football and basketball leagues.

Voted “Best Podiatrist on Long Island” in 2011, Dr. Stummer is also a staff physician at NSUH at Plainview Wound Care Center, the preferred podiatric physician for New York Physical Therapy and multiple high schools on Long Island, and certified in the treatment of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

A graduate and member of the Pi Delta Honor Society of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Stummer has served as Chief Resident of Podiatric Surgery and Medicine at Rogers Williams Medical Center, and he pioneered the Robotic Program at the State University of New York at Oneonta, which is where he earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry.

Dr. Stummer is available for appointments in the early morning, afternoon, evenings, and weekends. Most insurance plans are accepted as full or partial payment for his services.
